I’ve refused to use Uber for over a year on ethical grounds, and I know a lot of people who do the same. It’s not that the experience is much different — it’s that I don’t feel dirty taking a Lyft ride. When I’ve spoken to people who drive for both, they also universally say they prefer using Lyft. And of course, Lyft doesn’t have the internal culture problems. That’s enough for me.
